For some, the Samsung custom interface is a blessing for people like us; it’s a nightmare. We can change it, but for that processes like rooting, custom recovery are important. 1.) Make a full backup of your device, including messages, audio, video, etc.
2.) Make sure your device has a minimum charge of the remaining 60%.
3.) Your device must have unlocked OEM and USB debugging enabled.
4.) This method only works for Exynos variants of the Galaxy S9 / S9 +.
5.) Your PC must have Odin Software installed.

How to (unofficial) Install TWRP recovery on Galaxy S9/S9+?

1.) First, download the TWRP recovery files from the links below and move them to your PC / laptop.
2.) Now download and extract Odin software for PC.
3.) Turn off your Galaxy device and press and hold the Bixby + Volume button together with the power button. This will open the download mode on your device.
4.) Now open the Odin software and connect your device to the PC using a working USB cable.
5.) Your device will be detected in the Odin software and the option ID: COM will be highlighted in blue.
6.) Click on the AP tab in the Odin software and select the TWRP file that you downloaded.
7.) Go to the options tab and uncheck the automatic restart option.
8.) Now click on start button and chill for the installation process to finish; After the successful installation, the Odin software will display the message “Pass”.
9.) You are now ready for the device to have TWRP recovery now.
