How To Recover Deleted Photos From Android Phone For Free

How To Recover Deleted Photos From Android Phone For Free, It often happens that you accidentally end up deleting all the pictures stored on the memory card of your smartphones. It sucks, especially if you have not stored a backup of the images elsewhere (usually on an external hard drive or laptop). But do not worry, since there is a simple way you can use to recover all deleted photos, ie if you have not lost the SD card (just kidding!).

How does the memory card work?

But before showing you how you can retrieve your photos, let’s try to understand what happens when you delete photos from your memory card. First of all, it is important to know that the system does not delete all the photos, it simply makes the space available so you can save other files on it. The “deleted” files (in this case the photos) are still there, which is how they can be recovered.

Further, as you continue to save new files (documents, photos, etc.), the system could use the space of deleted files to store new data. The good news is that you can still recover.

What do I need to recover my photos?

All you need is your memory card, a recovery software, and your laptop. There are many recovery programs available in the market. You can use PhotoRec for MacBook and your Windows PC or Recuva, which works only for Windows.

Once the recovery software is in place, follow these simple steps to recover your photos:

Step 1: Connect the memory card to the system.

Step 2: Open your recovery software.

Step 3: Now select your memory card from the list of drives that are displayed in the software.

Step 4: After selecting the right disk, press Enter.

Step 5: Once the software has scanned your memory card, it will display the list of files (photos and documents) on your SD card. Simply select the files you want to recover.

Step 6: Select the location where you want to save your photos (in a new folder or image folder) and press Confirm.

Tada! All your files have been recovered safely and are safe to use now.
